The heart of that system is our proprietary crawl space liner -- a 20-mil-thick reinforced material constructed of multiple layers that make it highly tear- and puncture-resistant and absolutely watertight. While nearly 4 times as thick as conventional plastic vapor barriers, it's also lightweight, flexible, fire resistant, tough, and durable enough to walk or crawl on. White on both sides to keep your crawl space brighter than ever, our liner comes with a 25-year warranty and is also treated with an antimicrobial to help minimize the likelihood of mold and mildew growth.

Depending on the installation level you choose, other features of our system include:

• Insulation of band joist space and foundation walls
• Sealing the sill plate
• Minimum 3-inch termite inspection gap
• Installation of a dehumidifier, circulation fans, and humidistat controls
• Installing lighting
• Sealing off existing crawlspace vents
• Installation of a crawlspace humidity and temperature monitor

And, for a period of one year from the completion of our system installation, we'll periodically monitor your crawlspace and provide any required maintenance to ensure that your system continues to keep your home dry, clean and healthy.

A major component to the Your Crawl Space advantage lies in the fact that we custom-cut all material to fit the dimensions of a crawl space environment. Many times companies will send out standard-cut rolls of liner which are often quite large and difficult to handle and cut. In custom-cutting all materials specifically for our clients, we greatly reduce the hassle of maneuvering unnecessarily large rolls of liner, along with eliminating the waste of unused material. So make sure you get what you pay for and pay for what you use.

The closed crawlspace system developed by Your Crawlspace was born out of needs encountered in the residential construction industry. Many of the homes we worked on had excessive mold, mildew, moisture, and other issues -- all of which resulted from their construction over exposed crawlspaces. Our system was in research and development for approximately two years. Only after we perfected the system did we begin offering installation services or our Do-It-Yourself System to customers like you.
